Happy finals week where Elise suddenly becomes overzealous in documenting her life and writing because it is much better than the alternative of studying.
Tonight has consisted of me studying, making banana bread, getting up fifty times to check the banana bread, going to the bathroom fifty times because of my obligatory celebration Swig, and then studying again, kind of.
It's been a good day, but also a crazy day. Finals is so interesting because you want to celebrate Christmas and maybe go outside, but instead you sit all day and study. It's ok and then it's not ok and overall you're kind of bored. But also strangely cherishing this time when you get to study. There is some amount of relish in being solely responsible for that. And it makes me happy.
In any case, happy finals. I will no doubt see you tomorrow.
